Bio - Short
I’ve been a digital designer, illustrator, and design instructor for over 30 years. I have deep expertise in creating imaginative illustrations in a wide variety of traditional media and in Illustrator and Photoshop. I genuinely enjoy brainstorming solutions to visual storytelling challenges. I understand the importance of taking a user-centered approach: crafting consistent images and messages that engage the target audience.
I also design promotional and marketing communications for digital displays, email publications, websites, and printed materials such as books and billboards, banners and branded merchandise. I provide art direction for multi-channel campaigns, coordinating branding and consistent messaging.
Until September, 2024, I managed up to 500 projects per year for 22 clients, including building multiple websites in WordPress and within a content management system, and managing email campaigns and newsletters. I am a also prepress expert. In 2025, I am returning to teaching digital illustration and design.
And last, but not least, I have been a member of the Apple community since 1987, starting with the SE!
